Christian Research Institute (CRI) is pleased to provide its employees with an attractive benefits package that offers protection and security for eligible employees and their families.

Contact HR within 31 days of a qualifying event to make enrollment changes. Otherwise, you will have to wait until the next open enrollment period to make changes.

You are eligible to participate in the employee benefit plans if you are classified as a regular full-time employee regularly scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week. Further details regarding eligibility requirements for employees and dependents and effective dates of coverage can be found in the Enrollment information, including benefit plan information, enrollment instructions, and enrollment forms may be found through in the Benefits Guide.

Please note that coverage for you and your dependents ends on your last day of active employment or on the date you no longer meet the plan's eligibility requirements. Coverage for your dependents may also end on the date they no longer meet the definition of an eligible dependent. Under certain circumstances you may be able to continue some benefit coverage's for yourself and your dependents through COBRA or conversion to an individual policy, as permitted under the plan.

Making Changes During the Year
Generally, after you have made your medical/vision, dental, and reimbursement account elections, you may change those elections only during the next open enrollment period. However, if you have a qualifying event during the year and notify Human Resources within 31 days of the event, you may change certain benefit plan elections before the next open enrollment period. A qualifying event is defined as an event that results in the gain or loss of eligibility by you or your dependents.
